Opera Action Limited (OAL) is a newly formed company set up to enhance the leisure and entertainment industry in West Cumbria. OAL are working to restore the Workington Opera House to provide the people of West Cumbria and visiting tourists with a venue fit for professional entertainment.OAL are also wanting the Workington Opera House project to dramatically improve the local night time economy.
The directors and members of OAL are made up of councillors, teachers, theatre enthusiasts and local residents. OAL are working with a range of different groups and companies for help and advice including the Stockport Plaza, CMS (Co-operative Mutual Solutions), Theatres Trust, Graves (Cumberland) Limited and many more.
